As we entered 2025, I decided it was time for me to make some big changes. I have played it safe for too long in this coaching space. A few blogs here, a few videos there and some podcasts thrown in for good measure. All very nice, but I want to create more impact.
The clients I work with see a very different side to the slightly vanilla version of me that shows up in my social posts, and they like that other version, it gets results. I want to unleash that version of myself into the World Wide Web.
Over the last 6 weeks, I have been getting my head around exactly how that looks, and now I know what it looks like; it's time to unveil it.
So, today, I am rebranding myself as "The Rogue Coach."
Why? Because it is more in line with who I am and what I do.
My coaching has never been traditional; It's unconventional, I have little regard for the rules, and I have never been afraid of pushing the boundaries and, through fair means or foul, doing whatever it takes to get results for my clients. I don't do fluff or sugarcoating, and I am about as subtle as a brickhammer.
So it's only right that my brand and content start reflecting that.
My website has been jacked up, made simpler, bolder and more in ya face. My posts going forward will have a very different tone and feel, and there will be more podcasts and videos.
Along with the new name, I am also announcing a new coaching model I have been developing for the last 18 months. It has been tested with real people in challenging situations, and even if I do say so myself, it's brilliant.
The R.O.U.G.E. framework is everything I know that works from turning the car crash that was my life around along with the stuff I have learned in the 10 years coaching people 1-2-1, distilled down into a simple process and set of habits anyone can master. However big the challenge you're facing is, this framework will help you overcome it.
This isn't just a name change. It's a statement. A commitment to helping more people. We are facing some huge challenges in our society. Suicide is on the increase, as is the number of people struggling with their mental health. Alcohol addiction is way too common, and poor physical health and obesity are being normalised. On top of these, there are just too many people putting up with poor wellness and feeling lost, especially business owners and professionals. Things need to change, and I believe I can be part of that change.
Life is not always easy; we all face tough challenges, but with the right tools and support, all challenges can be overcome, and I can provide the tools and support.
So, while I am only one man and can't help everyone, I can certainly help a few.
This post marks the start of my journey into upping my game. It's time for me to go rogue and make things happen.
Watch this space.
Take Care
