Time to reflect

We are fast approaching the end of 2023. And regardless of what the year brought for you, it will soon become history as we step into a shiny, fresh one in January.

At this time of year, I encourage people to reflect on all the good stuff they managed to do this year.

Why?

Because people have a habit of focusing on what's not working or what they feel has gone wrong, and while I am sure we have all had a few bumps in the road this year and will still have challenges we are facing, there will also have been a hell of a lot of stuff we all nailed. So, taking some time to step back and look at our wins is a fantastic way to remind ourselves of this fact.

So rather than spending the remaining weekends of 2023 aimlessly wandering around supermarkets, checking out the food deals for your festive table, have a go at the simple exercise below.

All you need to do is take a notebook, find some quiet time away from distractions, and spend an hour or so listing some of your wins this year. I guarantee there will have been plenty. Then, pick your top 3.

This simple exercise will help lift your mood and put you in a more resourceful and confident mindset.

Will this make your challenges go away? Hell no, but it will put you in a much better mindset to overcome them.

And when it comes to overcoming anything, mindset is everything.

Also, if you want a pork joint with a third off, check out Saibsurys. They also have taste the difference mince pies at £1.75 with a Nectar card. You can't fall off.
